Why do ebay sellers send stuff by courier when their description says "Royal Mail"?
Do they think I am sitting here all day with no life and nothing to do? At least if the postman comes with it they only take it to the post office if I'm out. Couriers take the bloody things to some depot on some God forsaken industrial estate in the ar5e end of nowhere and then you have to go through 7 levels of misery to get the sodding parcel redelivered.

LOL!
Sellers usually have templates pre-set in order to save time when creating listings. Royal Mail is selected for the default method (which I'm sure he uses on other items). So when sellers create their listings they want to crank out as many as possible as quick as possible, so they really don't pay attention to the shipping section since its already filled out.
The other reason, you can list an item really cheap attracting more buyers to view the listing and so they make it up in the shipping to get the price they want. They usually set these at 'calculated shipping' as the default shipping option. So when they start cranking out tons of listings everything will auto calculate rather than wasting time changing the shipping cost for every listing.
Time is money. =)

First off, give him bad feedback. Then contact him again; if he doesn't respond file a complaint order through ebay and try to get the right DVD or your money back. I am a seller on ebay and I have also been through your situation. As a seller you dont even get the payment from the buyer until they give the seller proper feedback and ensure that the item was shipped correctly. Paypal has a hold on the money until they are sure the transaction is valid. In your case, the seller wont even get your money until you give positive feedback (im assuming yur not gonna do that) or the 21 day hold that paypal has wares off. Until then contact ebay and file a complaint. Good luck
