I'm 14 a girl and raised in a catholic family too. And I get what you mean the whole evolution thing just doesn't add up with god. You either believe or you don't. Personally I believe in god and all that but it's a choice. I just think well what about love and feelings and stuff. That isnt just science. I know we can't see or hear god but I think he is there. Praying has worked for me and I always feel good after I pray for whatever it is. Evouluion only goes so far. Personally I think the bible is more metaphorical then actually legit but I still getthe messege. Remember Jesus/god loves you lol <3. why do mirachaels happen right? :)

I used to be in your same positoin. Think of it this way if you believe in the big bang theroy then it is two atoms hitting each other but who would create the atoms? Somone had to you can't have nothing and turn it into to atoms.

About that evolution you said. Ask yourself this if evolution is right then why did humans quit changing?

Why is there no missing link. What i mean by that is why isn't there somthing in between humans and apes? I don't see no half apes half humas anywhere.

There is no logical way to believe in god. The idea of god doesn't make any sense.

Where did he come from? If he was around forever, why did he wait for an eternity to create the world. How can he be everywhere? How can he know what we think? ... and 500 more questions that religion can't answer with any credibility.

You know I feel the same way. I'm an agnostic I want there to be a god so bad . I want there to be a trail of candy and unicorns to go with it. I ask questions everyday no theist can answer with proof of what atheists call proof. It makes it hard when the teachers of god have their noses to the sky and don't listen to what we are asking for. So don't expect miracles to happen.

Why don't you just stay an atheist? If you can't find any logical reason to believe in gods, why should you? That would be stupid; it'd be like me believing in Santa "just 'cause." The only reason you're freaking out is because you've convinced yourself that using logic in the face of religion is a bad thing.

Often people say it's not logical to believe in God but it seem to me to be illogical to believe everything just happen. Life is so complex in the smallest detail how could it have come about by itself. No one has proven it has! Talking about faith!!!

evolution is a theory and only a theory. nothing can ever truly disprove God. nature actually points to God. life can only come from life. chaos cannot produce order. everything physical has a beginning and a end. something can never come out of nothing.

remember that the academia world is governed by people who do not believe in God and partake in liberal ideologies. how else could homosexuality be legal while pedophilia is not? inconsistency. if you are going to make homosexuality legal and adultery legal, then make pedophilia legal as well. but if pedophilia remains a crime, so should the other sexual sins.

Disbelief isn't voluntary. If you're an atheist, it's because of logic. Fighting fire with fire doesn't work in this sense.

If you're looking for god, you'll find one for every person in the imagination of each believer. They make each god in their own image. That's why they take it so personally when you say there's no such thing. It's totally real to them.
