My e-mail was tampered with.?

I sent an e-mail to my client. Their response was, "The items listed...". I didn't list what I wrote, it was all in a paragraph. Someone re-wrote my e-mail. How can this happen? Would it have been sent to someone else by mistake or did someone at this company read this persons e-mail and sent it on after re-writing what I wrote? Could Yahoo mail be tampering with my e-mails? How do I get to the bottom of this?

Update:

I have copies of both e-mails sent. The reason why I say Yahoo, I sent an e-mail to a certain person, I hit send, there's a code they send... I type it out. They send another, I did this several times and a faint box shows up and it reads, "What are you blind or visually impaired?" The faint message disappears and my e-mail was sent on. You tell me, what's that all about? There is no deep end here, there's a problem and I want an answer. Where's the confidentiality? If you truly have an answer, that would be helpful.

Before Jumping off the Deep end here, why not contact your "Client" and get a copy of the email that was delivered to them. If something is wrong, at least you have proof
