Why does YA delete answers without reading them first?

From the number of users and complaints that come in, it is humanly impossible to read all the answers.

When someone reports any answer, automatic computer programmed response is to delete the answer.

However, they do send message to you when they delete any answer. You have choice of contesting the same and they will restore. Happened to me. One of the users reported my answer taking only a part of my response and it appeared my answer was in violation. Then I sent them full answer and how the report was skewed and incorrect they restored my answer.

You can contest it if you're reported. I've had a few reversed. Some people are very snarky and are only looking for an answer they agree with. If they don't like you're answer, they report you.

I feel the same way, but some people rate down people's answers for no reason, just because it's a good specific answer.

You aren't supposed to give an opinion. You are supposed to give an informed answer.
