I have been told that bonding with ones mother is not only something special but

is very strong lasting even beyond the lifetime of either.Unfortunately,having been

orphaned at a very young age,I have only very vague impressions in my subconscious mind.I have no siblings.So again I am stumped.As for relations,I know only of my uncle who robbed me of my rightful inheritance and made me go

far away.Having worked my way through even menial jobs,I have educated myself with the help of the owner of a roadside eatery where I cleaned dishes and established myself in the US.While I am very comfortably well off with my own outfit and employing about a dozen people,I am yet to even think of tying the knot.

So even in that area I am blank.So while I am somewhat amused at myself at being unable to answer a simple question you have posed,I have now begun to read some books on psychology which will and should give me an insight on the subject of relationships.

It isn't that simple.

My Dad and I are very close. He was the love of my life until I married the love of my life.

I would die for my husband, parents, children and even a few true friends. If I was given and option of who to save over my husband or parents I would choose parents. They are in their 70's and have lived good lives and hubby and I still have a 6 yr old. My parents would want me and expect me to choose my hubby. We have a lot of life left to live and as heartless as it sounds it is the lesser of evils.

My kids over anyone. My siblings? I have 6 brothers and 2 sisters and my hubby and parents and those few good friends will come before them. Just because you share blood doesn't make your relationship a good one, a priority or even existent besides a blood tie.

Today is my brother Marks 50th birthday. The best big brother in the world. I love him dearly. He would never forgive me if I chose his life over my hubby's or my parents. He is a guy with a huge heart and a level head.

Life isn't black and white.

Father/Daughter and Mother/Son. Hands down!
