Obviously not.

The current demographic of republican club association is designed to specifically attract greedy, self-serving, selfish white people who categorically refuse to share anything they own while they breathe the same air as you & I.

Hoarding money or spending it like drunken sailors on political power grabs appears to be the sole focus of the GOP, that and political "victories".

The sole objective of the GOP is clear:

1. Eliminate the middle class.

2. Eliminate organized labor.

3. Eliminate political competition by neutering all democratic associated political organizations

4. Concentrate a majority of wealth into a select group of white-centric avarice oriented individuals/corporate interests.

5. Eliminate all social safety nets.

6. Eliminate all Government jobs not directly linked to wealth/power held by corporately-correct avarice-centric corporate operatives.

7. Divide remaining economic classes by separating women from all of their reproductive rights and use religious polarization/narratives as a litmus test for GOP party loyalty.

These are just a few, the GOP clearly wants to destroy this country by draconian austerity measures they've been planning for decades, all we can do is refuse to vote against our interests by refusing to vote for GOP candidates both clearly labelled and stealth regressives.

We are for a lack of better words, just dumb, distracted tax-paying cattle to the GOP who thoroughly enjoy herding us to be slaughtered by their corporate masters by devaluing/exploiting human labor using an inverted pyramid to redistribute wealth not downwards to production labor, but backwards/upwards towards all non-production chair loiters/money leeches at the top of the corporate inverse non-labor, money-stealing economic food chain.

Of course, your question is in jest but it points out the Republican Party operates purely for their private and petty political purposes and that they do not give a wit about the folk they are charged to protect. The appearances that Republicans are willfully and intentionally subverting employment in America to create the illusion that the President is ineffective at curing our nation's ills are hard to ignore. Destroying jobs is piss poor job creation, but the Republicans are not focused on creating jobs. The Republicans are focused on making the President able to be re-elected. To the end of screwing up President Obama's chances of being re-elected, we can not yet say.

You know as well as I do, Richard, that the Republican Party will not promote or support ANY kind of job creation as long as we have a Democrat in the White House. I doubt seriously that they have any interest in job creation no matter who is president. Their main function is to carry the water for the filthy rich, the United States of America be damned!

The republicans are all about debt reduction and budget caps. That’s all they have to offer. But this does not create jobs and they have proven they are in fact, willing to put people out of work for their political ideology. The republican party is dying a slow death.
