Do I have short term memory loss?
Okay so I think I have short term memory loss; not just because I put stuff down and forget where I put it but because I can't remember things that happened in the past. Like for example my mom was Looking through old pictures of last year and a few months ago and I saw a picture of me wearing my Halloween coustume, now this was only a couple months ago, and I Never remember buying that coustume or putting it on! And I do also Put stuff down and forget where I put it. I've even tried to use sticky notes but I forget where I stick them untill my mom finds them and tells me. Also another example is I can't remember my teachers from last year. I don't remember their names or what they look like, and I think it is VERY odd that I don't. And durning school I also forget what I am doing or I forget what class I have next. Should I go to the doctors and get checked out, also I have been Having bad migraines. And no I never did drugs, smoked, or drank in my life, I'm only 13. Please help! Thanks, and please no rude comments!

If you also have problems with your weight along with memory loss and migraines, go to your doctor and get a thorough THYROID checkup. They need to do TSH along with other tests. I'm sending you the list of symptoms and links to the list of tests that need to be done. PLEASE take this seriously

I would say I have short term memory loss. It happens constantly. Something will come to me to remember- and then it's gone. I've been using the "to do list" or recording short messages on my phone lately to help me. I haven't really asked a doctor about it. I mainly blame it on lack of sleep and my kids driving me crazy. They say one word and I lose total train of thought. They're 3 and 8 (boys).

Train yourself to remember things. You just have a bad case of absentmindedness; it's caused from not paying attention to what you are doing.
