What is the best way to ship food?

I'm not sure if this is even possible. I want to send my preggo sister one of her favorite foods from our hometown. It's a sub sandwich with all her favorite fixings. Is there a safe way to do this? I understand it would have to be over nighted. The sub typically comes oven baked, but I suppose she could throw it in her oven. What's the best way to go about doing this, if at all possible? Thanks.

we had shipped to us, trough a survey we were doing, 2 big tubs of Margarine. They came in small cooler, with two, still frozen, industrial ice packs. Do not get the sandwich heated in any way, wrap it in the plastic bag used by sub companies and a food safe bag just to be sure. Use 2 medium sized freezer(not refrig freezer) frozen ice packs, arrange a late pick up time and do a 7 am delivery next day. Tape the cooler closed real good.

See if the Delivery Company you're sending it Through- has any refrigerated (or Insulated) packaging you can send it in. Because Your Sister would be VERY Disappointed to receive Her favorite Sub-sandwich in the Mail- LOOKING Delicious- but having Spoiled in Transit !!! :(

Use a styrofoam box and ice for overnight.

Because it's so expensive to ship overnight, you could ship it Priority if you use dry ice ( it will freeze the sandwich).

Then she can thaw and bake.
