  • 2004 Chevrolet cavalier won't start, click, turnover?

My husband's 2004 Chevrolet cavalier literally came to a stop and rolled when he pulled in from work on Friday. There had been no previous warning or indication of any problems. We also noticed the gears (it is an automatic) were really loose. I'm not sure if this is part of the problem, but worth mentioning.

So, we try to turn it on and there is no clicking, sputtering or turning over, but the electrical works. Dash lights up. Even still, we did attempt to jump it and input in half a quart of oil in to troubleshoot. The oil stick appeared to be OK, but since the car hasn't been warmed up, I couldn't get an accurate reading on the oil.

I can provide more details, if needed. Any ideas at what this issue could be would be GREATLY appreciated:) it is going to be a couple of weeks before I can get it to a shop. If I can't get it started, it will have to be towed, and I imagine that will be quite the expense:(

    Thank you all.

  • Buying animals from craigslist?

Do you think it is safe? I have successfully bought and sold many items from craigslist over the years. With regards to a new puppy or kitten, is this reputable? What should I be wary of? Is it recommended?

  • what to call a baby shower where only diapers and essentials are needed?

Hi, I am throwing a shower for my friend. She is having twin boys. She already has 2 girls. She isn't going to register anywhere. We both agree that people generally don't shop off the registry anyways. Is there anyway to word her invitation that diapers, wipes, clothes would be awesome? How should I title the invitation? I really hope this isn't coming off as weird or tacky or anything. that is just what I am trying to avoid!

Anyways, should I just Say Please come to ____ Baby Shower! and leave it as is; or should I call it a "diaper shower" or something else that is clever and to the point?

would love some thoughts and ideas thanks!

  • Can I get refunded for apps (iphone 4)?

Still kinda new to the iPhone and app world. I downloaded one that has just been a major disappointment. It was a $2 app though. Not alot of money, but I am just *that* disappointed with it. How do I get a refund?

  • 3 year old's sleep habits?

is there any way to "teach" sleeping in; at least on the weekends? Our 3 year old has always been an early riser. It is not abnormal for her to be up at 6am, sometimes earlier. This is not a problem during the week. My husband gets up early for work, and we all just get up with him. However, she ends up waking her baby brother in some form or another.

I realize this is part of being a parent. However, sleeping in until 730 or 800 would be nice on the weekends. I am not looking to sleep all day (i wish, haahaa!).

So, if you have been in my shoes, what have you done to get a little bit of shut eye on the weekend?

    Thanks!

  • What is the best way to ship food?

I'm not sure if this is even possible. I want to send my preggo sister one of her favorite foods from our hometown. It's a sub sandwich with all her favorite fixings. Is there a safe way to do this? I understand it would have to be over nighted. The sub typically comes oven baked, but I suppose she could throw it in her oven. What's the best way to go about doing this, if at all possible? Thanks.
