want to go to thailand ,, are there better cheaper places like thailand????

Indonesia is the cheapest and the sucks, the ppl are really bad, if they nice to you that just because they see white guy, they hope they can married, to change their life, basically it's all bout the money, and the ppl are idiot, thailand still the best place to visit in asia, maybe it's not big as japan, shanghai etc but it has unique culture and yet i mention good looking?

yea there's Philippines, been there many times such a great place, especially in Cebu, the island of Bohol, where the famous chocolate hills and the tarsiers are located, there's Boracay island, although Manila is an overcrowded city, it has great attractions, and a beautiful city, there is also Baguiao...as for other places....Vietnam is a great place, also Malaysia, a beautiful nation...

...someone here mentioned Singapore, great city, beautiful city and a must go, yea its strict and one of the safest places on earth when it comes to crime...loved to live there, but its not the cheapest place to go, it is a very expensive city, unless you manage to get a room at an apartment, which cost us 200 SGdollars, the people who let you stay at there apartment are really nice, and you always get that warm Singaporean welcome...

There are slightly cheaper places like Cambodia & Laos.

Thailand is very in-expensive anyway.

But nowhere comes anywhere near Thailand for fun, entertainment,

interest, culture & the friendliest of people, that's why it's called

"the land of smiles"

Sure....you have Bali, Cambodia, Singapore....my dad loved Singapore !, Okinawa, Malaysia, Guam, and Indonesia. Cambodia, and Bali are similar to Thailand. Try staying at smaller hotels. They are very cheap. But the exception is problems like, hot water at a certain time, lighting, electricity. But they are dirt cheap ! Call the hotels first and inquire about the necessities, compare with other hotels and have fun ! :)
