How do I find the f(x+2) given f(x)?

The f(x) = (x+2)^2 - 1

I have to graph the line for f(x) (already graphed it) and then graph the line of f(x+2). How would I find the vertex and intercepts of f(x+2) so that I can graph it?

just move the graph 2 spaces to the left

    f(x+2)

is a translation of shifting the graph to spaces to the left

f(x-2) is moving it to the right

    f(x)+2 is 2 up

    f(x)+2 is 2 down
