How do I create the Smokey Eyes look?
Hi! I recently bought these MAC products: Blackground paint pot, Black eye shadow and white frost eyeshadow, but I don't know how to use them to create the smokey eyes effect.

It's hard to say unless I actually had the products in front of me, but here is by suggestion.
-Start by applying a primer to your lids.
-Apply 'White Frost' from your lash line your crease. Then, sweep it under your brow bone as a subtle highlighter.
-Apply the black shadow to the outer thirds of your eyes and start blending it inwards. There should be no harsh line between the black and white shadow.
-Apply 'Blackground' to your lash line, softly smoking it upwards. Drag it down on your your lower lash line.
-Finish with two coats of black mascara on your upper and lower lashes. Pale pink lip gloss or lipstick would also go great with this look.
BTW: Another option is to simply apply 'Blackground' around the entire perimeter of your eye and softly smudge it.

I would steer clear of black eye shadow for fear of looking too dark. For the smoky eye effect think dark browns, coppers and golds. And blend, blend and blend some more.
