    17.91 cm

    Remember to include a bit extra to stick one end to the other around the bottle, if that is applicable.

    hmmmm...a design question. let's see...

    oh - a bottle with a 5.7cm diameter and you want the perimeter for a label.

    perimeter = pi * 4/3 r^3 no wait...hmmm...1/2 b*h nope. how about using newton's method to find the roots of the equation. no. i got it...how tall is the bottle? yeah...turn the label sideways and put it lengthwise along the bottle. that way you don't have to mess with all this messy math.

    glad i could help...eloquence in its simplicity.

    good luck.

    Perimeter or Circumference = pi*D, where D is the diameter

    pi*5.7=17.91 cm

    c = 2pi(r)

    c = 2pi(5.7/2) = 17.89 cm
