How about MY jobs plan?
1. Repeal NAFTA.
2. Institute a tax on all corporations who import goods or export services rather than manufacture here or hire here at home. (hint: you can't name a single major corporation who hasn't shipped the majority of their jobs overseas.)
3. Profit.
I don't think Protectionism is a dirty word. The rest of the world does it.

Sounds good to me. Globalism is designed to drag the American worker into the third world.

That would be a pretty hefty tax...
If Corporations still save more money by exporting jobs and importing goods then they have to pay in taxes, they'll keep doing it.
Also, most corporations have people that can easily get around paying taxes.

So basically destroy our corporations profit margins or exacerbate the costs of all goods without a commensurate increase in wages. That will sit well with the PACs that provide the most amount of money to our political leaders.
