Creative nicknames and I refuse to pick a name because as he wants it is not passing. Cutting the payroll tax is putting the already broken Social Security program in more jeopardy, possibly creating 500,000 jobs on the backs of grandma and grandpa is wrong. Obama is going to pay in 2012 for the way he has ignored senior citizens, people 60+ make up the largest portion of voters. The only reason the polls show it close between whoever the GOP run against Obama is because their side calls it a Ponzi Scheme or wants to end it. Long time before election day and if another GOP candidate emerges with a plan to fix it he or she will smote the other in the primary and destroy Obama in the general election. The program is in much worse shape when Reagan/Oneil fixed it in 1982 but today we lack vision and leadership like that.
Back on topic Moody's Economist says it will create tops 1.9 million jobs in 12 months. We need 2.25 million to just keep up with population growth. Spending half a trillion to add 350,000 people to the unemployment line is crazy. Giving another year of unemployment insurance to people who have been on a program meant to last six months (many have been on it for nearly two years) is another waste. I am against welfare but honestly that is where the long term unemployed belong now. Instead paying them $400 to $500 a week they should be getting that per month. The roads projects are not enough and is a Union payback. The only good part is the tax incentives to hire Vets from the current wars but should not include spouses who never served and in many cases not married to Vets during war service. Leaving the spouses out of it would allow us to include 1st Gulf War Vets, Bosnia and Kosovo Vets to. All combat vets have had this type of program before but Obama is skipping a generation in favor of spouses and that is WRONG! No one ever discriminates in hiring due to war service of a spouse.
