Can I plug this surge protector into another surge protector/power strip?

Looking to plug two fluorescent shop lights into a surge protector that will be plugged into a power strip.

I can't tell if it's just a power strip or surge protector. But I'm pretty sure what I'm plugging into it is a surge protector.

It's only two three prong plugs though.

each holds two 40 watt bulbs

Yes you could plug a surge protector into another surge protector/power strip, but be sure that the surge protector is plugged into the outlet.

Source(s): have my shop light set up that way by an electrician

I connect two like that to accommodate three battery tenders for the motorcycles. It works fine.

I do hope we are smart enough here with modern technology to NOT blow you up. There is a section for this stuff I'm sure.
