i am totally with Jonathan down there. i know we can handle the truth, but it's hard. too many people just don't want to believe whats really going on. screw the illuminati!

Your point is really unclear. The American media does not present the real truth about international events.

I wonder how Americans would react if they were blitzed like London was during the war. They have been acting like the U.S. was attacked by a foreign military. These were singular acts of sabotage by al Quaeda involving a handful of people who sacrificed themselves for their cause, albeit killing a few thousand people in the process. They targeted the symbols of American imperialism, Wall Street and the Pentagon.

During WW2, we created a monstrous war machine to threaten the Soviets that has gotten out of control and no one wants to put the genie back in the bottle.

It's obvious that you can't recognize it, let alone handle it. Every day the news is full of death, destruction, the declining economy, etc. Politicians are full of hate for the other side, whichever side that is.

We have already had our Pearl Harbor, on September 11, 2001. We overreacted and acted as if there was a country we could conquer to stop this kind of thing, when the truth is that the enemy is everywhere. No military action can stop terrorism, unless you want us to invade the entire world. And the invasions we have committed have made terrorism even more powerful because of all the ordinary citizens we have killed in the name of democracy.

I'm not old enough to remember Pearl Harbor, but I do remember Vietnam, and there was nothing pretty about the pictures they ran in Look and Life back then. There has been a lot going on in the country between WW2 and 9/11.

The real truth is not that Obama is crying wolf, indeed, he has no reason to, the wolf cried under Bush, when we were attacked and he went to war, not to just get our attacker, but to invade another country because of a tissue of lies created to have us believe we were endangered by Saddam.

That's the real truth, not that Obama is in anyway to blame for our situation. He's an afterthought, not the main mover.
