Question about a word problem?

it would be 18. because team A plays B, C, and D, thats 9 games. (3 and 3 and 3)

so team A already played their games and so far, their are 9 games played.

now team B plays C and D (they already played A, remember at the top) so now thats 6 games (3 and 3) so

9+6=15

now team C plays team D (they already played A and B at the top)

so now thats 15+3=18

what you did wrong is that you times 4*4*4, so some teams played themselves

Every team plays every other 3 times, so 3 * 6 = 18
