What is the name of the Chipmunk's video where...?

I had an Alvin & and the Chipmunks VHS when I was little (early 90's) that started with the three chipmunks finding Dave and writing the "Witch Doctor" song, then finding their real mother who lived in the woods, then finding an old haunted mansion that belonged to the Seville family, then going to Japan to learn kabuki, then going on a James Bond-style mission with the Chipettes to find a jewel of some sort.

All of this was on one VHS or a set of VHSs. I have no idea what it was called, all I know is that it was the old chipmunks long before the recent animated movies. If anyone could tell me the name or point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it!

Update:

I also remember the song "Mother and Child Reunion" playing in the first part and the more I think about it the more I think it was 2 VHSs

my brother and I loved it from our childhood.

I provided the link but this is the movie you were talking about. I believe. Its been one of my favorite kids movies ever since i've seen it.
