What to major in to go to law school?
I was wondering if law schools look at some majors with more consideration than others for admission. I'd personally like to major in something like Psychology so that if I decide I don't want to go to law school, I would have something to fall back on that I enjoy. I hear that political science and criminal justice are popular categories, but most careers in those fields don't interest me.

I've heard law school admissions will consider with any degree. Some law schools want students with diverse backgrounds.
However, I heard law schools require that you did well in classes where there was much reading/writing. Poly-Sci and History or common pre-law majors and will show your reading/writing skills.
But you should definetely do what interests you more. Psychology would be a good major. Guessing you'd defeinetely still be considered with a Psychology degree. Theres reading/writing involved. Also, sounds like you're interested in Pyschology itself, you'll probably enjoy it while in undergrad.
Go for a Pyschology degree, you'll still be considered by law schools. Practice the LSAT

Hey R-Swiss,
For the most part, law schools view all majors as equal. As long as you don't major in Basketweaving, you'll be fine. I went to law school with Creative Writing majors, Theatrical Arts majors, Arabic majors; you name it.
The one caveat is that certain majors that many associate with being pre-law aren't, in fact, good pre-law majors. You hit one with Criminal Justice - many think it's great for pre-law, when in reality it's looked down on a bit by law school admissions offices. Pre-Law majors are seen in the same way.
Psychology, however, is a great major. Just keep your grades up and you'll be fine.
Good luck!
