I got scammed on eBay? Can I get my money back?
I paid someone $50 for a Youtube account that was very rare (made in 2005). I gave him the money through PayPal and he gave me the password but it didnt work. I messaged him like 20 times and hes not messaging back. Im pretty sure he scammed me. Can I report him to the police? Call PayPal? Ebay? How can I get my money back. Thanks.

One time someone tried to scam me on ebay on a cellphone I bought. It was actually my first time buying, so I panicked a bit. I learnt to buy only from people with a good star rating.
But it's ok, this is what you have to do:
Open a PayPal dispute. Fill it out and explain that you have messaged the person 20 times and there's still no response.
Now, there are 2 ways the dispute will get solved, and I've gone through both.
The first one is, the person will give you the item (which happened with the cellphone), so, in your case, you'll get the real password, log in (then change it immediately! Along with associated emails or other ways to access it) and until you're sure he won't be able to log in, close the dispute.
The second one is, you'll get your money back (it happened to me with a book that the person posted twice), so, in this case, you'll just get your money back.
Either way, things will be solved. Just remember: Don't panic.
Good luck with your PayPal dispute.

Why dont you open a dispute against this seller if you went through Ebay and Paypal? You have 45 days from date of auction.
The police don't help with civil matters. This was not a crime.

You can't report to Ebay or Paypal as it's against their terms to sell virtual goods. You can't report to the police as it's illegal to buy a Youtube account as that account belongs to Google, not to the account holder.

For starts I believe "virtual content" such as MMO accounts and Youtube accounts are not allowed to be sold on Ebay. Seriously why would you pay for a Youtube account?
