Questions about starting P90x?

Hey everyone.

So I'm 23 years old stand about 6,2 and weigh a solid 215lbs. Not horribly over weight but not in good shape either. This is without question the heaviest I've ever been in my life. When I was in my teens I was the same height and weighed between 180 and 195. When I was 18 I started working out and slimmed down to 170 and I remember feeling stronger and faster than I ever have in my whole life at that age.

I know its been out for awhile but I've only recently heard about P90x. A friend of mine has been doing it for about a month and I can see notable difference's in his physique. As I've come to understand P90x is a pretty challenging program which makes Sense if all the before and after pictures are to be believed.

So I guess my questions are as follows.

#1 - How challenging is the program? From day 1 to day 90?

#2 - Are the results really as good as everyone says they are? ''Assuming you stick with it''

#3 - How much should I expect to pay for it? And where is the best place to order/buy it?

Thanks for any helpful anwsers.

    1. How challenging it will be depends on a few things including your current shape. I am a 5'2 female and I could feel my workout the next day but it was not too bad at all. Each DVD is about 50 mins long but about 15 mins of it is a warm up and cool down. You will do each exercise for about 1 min and will have breaks in between. Since you select how much weight you will use just how intense the workout it is up to you. Plan on doing several variations of push -up and pull ups. A typical week will consist of a strength training workout followed up the next day by a cardio type workout.

    2. The results are excellent whether you are in shape and wanting to tone up or are a little "out of practice" just remember that dieting and consistency will have a huge impact on your results.

    3. The program itself runs about 120 outright however if you join team beach body you do get a 10% discount. Team beach body is free and does offer several tools to help keep your workouts on track for example a goal tracker and message boards in case you have questions.

You can make purchases from the infomercial, team beach body or a coach. I have put some links to sites that you can make the purchaes from and research the other products. Feel free to contact me if you would like clarification on something in this post.

3-I'm not too sure about that. Not too much.

My brother is 26 &' weighed around 300lbs. He did P90X &' is now about 190lbs. Mainly muscle. He has a very toned body. He doesn't even look 26. You should really try it.! The results are phenomenal.
