  • Whats the hardest part about dating for you?

    So lets hear it.

Where do you struggle in dating? Are you the shy type who can't make yourself go talk to someone you like? Are you the awkward type who says random things trying to impress someone but comes off kind of weird? Or maybe your the one who can land the relationship smoothly, but after 6months to a year of dating suddenly you find yourself bored and wanting to move on?

Maybe you suffer from all of these issues, or maybe your a total player who can land any relationship you want and make it last until you say its over?

  • I think I'm in-love with my best friend? What should I do? How do you think she feels?

This is going to be kind of long but I'll try and shorten it up...

I've known this girl since 6th grade. Her and I have always been friends, after we graduated high school her and I both started hanging out ALOT more. I've always wanted to ask her out but its hard because there is alot more riding on this...YEARS of friendship, this isn't like asking some stranger or relatively new acquaintance out. This is high stakes.

I get very subtle feelings that she's attracted to me as well, she texts me ALOT and always wants me to come by her work and see her, she always wants to spend time with me. And another example is this. The other night her and I had....A moment you could say. We were both listening to my MP3 player (We have the same taste in music) and we were on a bench together, at one point we were basically sitting shoulder to shoulder thigh to thigh listening to semi romantic classic rock and looking at the stars. I kind of felt like she wanted me to throw an arm around her and hold her. But I didnt...And here's why.

...She currently has a boyfriend, but they are fighting more and more here lately...She called me the other night crying because of a fight she had with her boyfriend, and told me that she need to be consoled. We spent a good three hours on the phone with each other, her crying and not understanding why he was acting the way he was...My giving my honest advice. Anyway when it was all said and done, she told me that she loved me and felt so lucky to have someone in her life that would take care of her like this. And then she apologized for crying so much.

I've loved her for along time...But only in the past year or so have realized that I really am IN-love with her. I've considred telling her how I feel and explaining to her that IF things don't workout with her boyfriend I would like to take her out on a date and see what happens. What do ya'll think? I'm afraid of saying that to her because I don't want her to feel like I'm just waiting in the bushes for her to break up with her boyfriend...But at the same time I'm getting very subtle feelings that she is attracted to me to, and she might just waiting for me to make a move? I don't know what to do or think about this. I could be totally wrong about everything...Maybe everything she see's in me is strictly a Male and Female plutonic relationship. But I don't know.

What do all of you think?

  • I got rejected for being to nice. (What are your thoughts)?

    Long story short...

I know this girl named Nancy. Her and I met threw a mutual friend. We are both the kind of person who doesn't just open up to people. However her and I seemed to click pretty good from the get go. We've been friends for awhile now, but not to terribly long.

Anyway, our mutual friend texted me the other day and told me that she thought I would be a good match with Nancy. Nancy is just comming out of a relationship she had with an asshole. She also has admitted to being one of those girls who IS attracted to jerks, though she claims she doesn't realize they are jerks until later.

Anyway, I asked Nanci out on a date and she told me that she thinks I'm attractive and all but that I am to nice to her? Now, my relationship with her at this point has been nothing special really. We hang out occasionally. We got drunk together a couple of weeks ago alone at her apartment, but nothing came of it.

I don't think I've been overly nice to her...I don't hold doors for her, I don't always do what she wants to do, Hell I've even rejected a few of her requests to hang out together simply because I had other matters to attend to.

But she thinks I'm to nice??

What do ya'll think? Is she just making some kind of excuse to not date me? Am I already in the friendzone with her haha?

Or was I actually to nice?

  • How can I tell what body type I am?

So I've recently decided to get back into shape. I've started working out again. But I have a question, I've only recently learned of the different body types.

    #1 Ectomorph

    #2 Mesomorph

    #3 Endomorph

Based on the little I know about the subject I've pretty much ruled out Endomorph. But I'm having a really hard time figuring out if I am an Meso or an Ecto or something in between. I don't have any pictures to post up here, but I can describe my overall build to you.

I'm 23 years old and I currently stand 6,0 and weigh 210lbs (down from 230 when I started working out 5 weeks ago) I've got relatively broad shoulders but not massive shoulders, my arm's and legs are pretty average, they are considerably more tone and a little larger since starting back to working out.

My optimum weight seems to be about 180lbs as that's what I weighed when I was in my late teens and I was quite muscular back then. At that point my arms/legs and overall build seemed to have more muscle mass and size overall than I do now, which is what I strive to get back to.

Anyway, if anyone has any guess based on the little bit of information I can provide you here, I'm open to hear it.

Also one more question, can a person go from one body type to another? For example a Meso becoming an Endo or Ecto becoming a Meso? How excatly does this work?

Thanks for any helpful anwsers everyone.

  • ''Girls'' How important is a mans body to you?

I just ask this because It crossed my mind...Back when I was 17-19ish I was in excellent shape...I had six pack abs, large biceps and good looking leg muscles, and I noticed that I seemed to more successful with women then. Well in my early 20's I went threw a depression and let my body go a little bit...I stand 6,1 and went from weighing 180lbs in my prime to weighing 230lbs by the time I was 22 years old, alot of that hard earned muscle gave way to soft flab and I noticed that at that point girls paid less attention to me and pretty much made me do all the introduction work.

Well now I'm 23 and I just finish 1month on P90x and I'm already down to 210lbs and working hard to get back to my prime 180lbs. I've noticed now that my body is starting to take back its athletic shape girls are starting to make conversation out of the blue with me like they did in my late teens.

So I was just wondering, what do women REALLY think about a mans body? Does a well toned athletic man have better chance's with the Lady's than a flabby couch potato?

  • Are these signs that my lifelong friend is attracted to me?

So, long story short, I've known this girl (Catarina) since our sixth grade year in Jr, High. Cat's a very sweet outgoing person and was the one that introduced herself to me. I've always been attracted to her myself, I wanted to date her all throughout Jr. High and High School, however I was either to embarrassed to let her know how I feel, or just timed it poorly. Now I'm 23 and she is 22 and we have both moved on and dated and broke up with our share of people since our school days, but her and I have always remained in contact.

She is currently dating someone and has been with him for about a years time now. But I have noticed that in the past few months she's been taking a growing interest in my life. Today her and I had lunch together and she was asking me the most random off the wall questions, things such as...What is your favorite color? favorite animal? What do you like to do when you have extra free time?

And I realized for the first time today that her and I don't know a few of these basic things about each other...We have talked intimately about troubles in one anther's previous relationships and things of that nature...But we never thought to ask each other the most basic things. Today at lunch she also expressed how important of a person I was in her life and how she could not stand it if anything were to ever happen that would cause me to think less and/or poorly of her.

Anyway, it got me wondering...Could she possibly be interested in a ''quote'' on ''quote'' relationship with me? I've never been particularly good a noticing when a girl is showing interest in me...So that's why I ask this here...Is she interested? Or is this just normal conversation for a two friends of the opposite sex to have?

  • Starting 1st day of P90x in a couple of hours. Any tips?

I'm going to be starting P90x here in a couple of hours and I'm honestly a little nervous. I know that sounds stupid...anxiety over a home workout/diet program. Any last minute advice and/or words of encouragement?

    Thanks!

  • Does P90x build muscle? Or just burn Fat? Or Both?

I'm am planning on starting P90x this coming monday. First of all 99% of the reviews I've read online for P90x have been stellar. The majority of the bad reviews seemed like it was more about the person losing commitment 1/2 way through than it was P90x actually not working for them. But I just recently read a review by a man who stated he did just over 60 days of P90x and only got skinnier...Which don't get me wrong, that's a BIG plus...But I also want to get some visible muscle out of the program.

I currently stand 6,1 and weigh about 225lbs. Not obese but heavier than I would like to be. And I'm not one of those people who is already in good shape and looking for a new exorcise challenge via P90x. I am simply your average Joe who is relatively in-experienced with regular exorcise and my goal is to lose between 20 and 40lbs but also gain muscle. I don't particularly want to ''Just get skinny'' I've been ''Just skinny'' before...My main goal with P90x aside from losing weight and feeling better is to also get a body I'll be proud to show off. As it is right now I can't hardly make myself go swimming with friends because I'm so ashamed of how I look without a shirt on.

So how bout it?...Does P90x build muscle? Or is it just for burning fat? Or does it do both?

  • Solgar Multivitamin makes my pee bright neon yellow?

So I'm about to start P90x and just go on this whole total health kick and try and get back into good shape.

So here lately I started taking Solgar Multivitamins and I've noticed that since taking them my urine has turned from being generally clear and occasionally yellow...To just being bright neon yellow after every time I take the pill...I do drink lots of water, and when I do I'll go pee several times and each time it will be this bright yellow color...But after two or three rest stops my urine eventually becomes clear again.

I've noticed that when I took a different brand of Multivitamin it didn't effect my urine in any way. So why would Solgar brand do it?

    Thanks for any helpful answers.

  • Why do I struggle to comfortably converse with people?

I'm currently twenty three years old, and I find that I have a hard time carrying on conversation's with people...Mostly people my own age. I struggle to build off of what they say to me...Instead I usually just respond with a mostly empty meaningless answer like ''Oh that's cool''....Or ''that's nice''. It makes me feel really bad because I feel like I'm really boring when I'm out with people...When I'm in a group of people I'm more often then not I'm the one who has little involvement in the group and contributes very little to any conversations that might be going on.

This is relatively new phase in my life. I've never felt like I was a great conversationalist but it seems as though that since comming into my early twenty's Its gotten worse. I find that I now struggle to make conversation with old friends that I used to could talk to about anything with.

This is REALLY putting a damper on my dating life...I've never exactly been what you would call savvy with the ladies...But now I can't even make myself talk to girls that I'm interested in.

What is causing me to be this way?

What can I do to change it?

  • I'm starting to feel comfortably numb and that scares me.?

I find that here lately, with all the things going on in the world that I'm becoming ever so numb to it all. Nothing shocks me anymore, humanity's stupidity knows no bounds. I am disturbed that when I hear awful news be it from around the world or in my own town I feel absolutely nothing anymore, I feel no pity no remorse, nothing for the people involved. Am I'm a sociopath? I used to have more empathy but now not so much...I see things like this country being run into the ground and no one seems to have any interests in getting together to stop it, and when I think about it from that perspective I can't help but tell myself...Well we deserve what we get then...And I believe it to be true.

Part of me wants to be able to feel things like I used to...To be empathetic for people...But part of me just feels like I can't do it anymore.

  • Is online dating worth it? If so what sites would you recommend?

Hey everyone...So here lately I've been kind of having a dry spell in meeting new people and all due to the fact that I work overnights and sleep during the day so its kinda hard to go out with my friends and meet new people. So I was thinking about trying online dating/social type sites in a effort to meet some new people. In past couple of days I've made an account with Zoosk, but was disappointed to learn that its ''free'' trial stuff is very limited...And after doing a little bit of Research I've read some less than favorable reviews about it. At first I considered subscribing to a 3 month deal with Zoosk, but it seems like alot of people think that site is BS...So I don't want to waste money on it.

Preferably I want to start out trying a free site just to get a feel for this whole online dating thing. Does anyone have any experience with these sites? Any success stories? Any horror stories? Also if you think online dating is a good thing to try, what sites would you recommend? As I said before I would preferably want to start out with a free site.

    Thanks

  • Forza 4 limited collectors edition questions. (Quick Easy 10 points to best answer)?

    Hey everyone.

I've got a few questions about the Forza 4 Limited Collectors Edition. I'll keep it short and sweet...Quick and easy 10 points to best answer.

#1 - To my understanding the Collectors Edition comes with 25 extra cars, This is the main reason for my wanting it, But I do not currently have Xbox live. Are you required to have Xbox live in order to access the 25 extra cars? Or will they just be included in the game regardless if you have Xbox live or not? How exactly does this work?

#2 - Will the 25 extra cars offered in the Limited Edition ONLY be available to those who purchase the limited addition? Or does it just mean that they will be added to you're garage without you actually having to earn them via be available for purchase and/or earning threw racing in all copy's of the game?

#3 - How limited is the ''Limited Collectors Edition''? Threw some Research ive done online it seems that the collectors edition was only going to be supplied in limited numbers ''obviously''. But I ordered my copy from a local chain video store and they acted like it would not be an issue getting a copy of it for $79.99

Anyway if someone could answer these three questions for me I would greatly appreciate it and I will award the best answer 10 quick and easy points.

    Thanks again!

  • How hard is it to balance college and a full time job?

I'm 23 years old and I would really like to go back to school. I've got a few considerations for subjects I would like to study. One of which includes pursuing a PhD for Paleontology. So assuming I choose to pursue that I'm looking at 6 to 8 years of college most likely. I currently work full time as an overnight Security Guard and I have some bills I have to pay, so cutting back to part time really isn't an option right now.

How hard is it to balance a 40hour a week job with full time school as well? Like I said I work overnights so I could probably attend evening classes. But would I have any time what so ever to myself? Is a full time job and full time school doable?

    Thanks for any help.

  • Questions about starting P90x?

    Hey everyone.

So I'm 23 years old stand about 6,2 and weigh a solid 215lbs. Not horribly over weight but not in good shape either. This is without question the heaviest I've ever been in my life. When I was in my teens I was the same height and weighed between 180 and 195. When I was 18 I started working out and slimmed down to 170 and I remember feeling stronger and faster than I ever have in my whole life at that age.

I know its been out for awhile but I've only recently heard about P90x. A friend of mine has been doing it for about a month and I can see notable difference's in his physique. As I've come to understand P90x is a pretty challenging program which makes Sense if all the before and after pictures are to be believed.

So I guess my questions are as follows.

#1 - How challenging is the program? From day 1 to day 90?

#2 - Are the results really as good as everyone says they are? ''Assuming you stick with it''

#3 - How much should I expect to pay for it? And where is the best place to order/buy it?

    Thanks for any helpful anwsers.

  • I've been considering pursuing paleontology and need some advice?

    Hello everyone.

I've been considering pursuing paleontology as a career and I was wondering what all is required for this? I have done a little bit of research online and most sites have said its good to start planning for this in high school. When I was in high school I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, I didn't even have any real considerations. So I didn't really take any course's in high-school that were recommended for pursuing this venue. I did however graduate and made average grades in average classes.

Will the fact that I didn't take advanced math in high school make it harder for me to pursue Paleontology? Now that I'm a little older I have a stronger drive to better myself academically than I had in highschool, I feel as though I would be more prone to try harder to make better grades in college now. I hate to admit it, but I sort of half assed high school. I could have done much better than I did.

So with a basic highschool diploma and a will to learn and better myself, What can I expect in persuing Paleontology?

    Thanks for any help

  • Is online dating worth it?

So I've been going threw kind of a dry spot with girls and relationships here lately, and I'm looking to broaden my horizons. I've started considering online dating just to see how it works out. Ive never tried anything like this and I don't know anyone that has either. I figure that it can't hurt anything to try. The only thing I really and expect is for it to provide me a new venue of meeting people.

    What do you guys think?

    Any success stories out there?

    Any Horror stories?

Also what are some good ''free'' sites to try out.

    Thanks

  • How do I better perceive when a girl is attracted to me?

    Hello everyone.

So I'm 23 years old and for lack of a better word I'm completely oblivious to girls that are attracted to me. I've always had this problem and I think that in the past it has caused me to miss out on what could have really been some great relationships.

An example of this happened today. One of my friends ''Whom is Female'' needed to go to Target to get a few things and she asked if I would tag along with her. Well when we were checking out and getting ready to leave, I had picked up a magazine off of the end cap and was thumbing threw it. I had noticed the very cute Asian girl that was working the cash register and her and I even shared a nice smile with each other...Then I got lost thumbing threw the magazine. When we got into my pickup outside my friend looked at me and asked what the hell was wrong with me? I had no idea what I had done, She told me that the girl at the register was really into me and she could tell that she was just waiting for me talk to her. I of course had no idea of this.

But that's just one example...This happened many times in the past...A girl will be kinda into me and leaving subtle hints that she likes me...And I never pick up on these. I guess I missed out on that class in man training ''Subtle hints 101''.

If any of you girls out there can give me some tips it'll be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

  • Things got weird after an old friend and I agreed to date?

    Hey everyone.

I'll make this as short as possible.

So I know this girl...Her and I were friends most all of high school and we hung out pretty regularly for a couple of years after we graduated. I've always had sort of a crush on her, and whenever I managed to work up the nerve to tell her she was normally already involved with someone. After awhile her and I stopped talking, ''not because anything bad happened'' just because we got busy moving forward with our lives. I went on to have a few romantic flings and she became involved with someone we had not gone to school with. After a couple of years past her and I ran into each other again threw a mutual friend and we started hanging out like we used to. At this time I was single and she was involved with a true loser of a guy. Not long after her and I started hanging out she told me of her intentions to leave him because he did not treat her right. I went against the red flags and asked her if she would like to go out on a date ''after she left her guy of course'' and much to my surprise she accepted right away. That very week she left the guy she was dating and moved out of the apartment she shared with him. She called me the very day that she did this and told me that she was not quite ready to date as she had been with this guy for almost two years at this point and needed a little down time to get over him, Which seemed totally understandable to me so I told her that was absolutely fine, and with that said her and I both agreed to continue to see and talk to each other on the same ''friendly'' basis as we had been doing all along...

...That was the last time I heard from her. That was back in June. It is now September and I have not received one phone call or E-mail or anything from her. Since June I've tried to contact her by phone on several occasions and have left her a few voice messages only to not have them returned. I don't know whats going on honestly, Maybe she hooked back up with her Ex boyfriend and is afraid to tell me? Maybe she had a change of heart and just wants to be friends after all? If it were either of those I would be absolutely fine with that, I just wish she would call me back and let me know whats going on.

So with all that said, I guess my question is...What do you guys think? Is she giving me the run around? Her and I have been good friends for about 8 years now and I never got the impression that she was that kind of girl, but perhaps I was wrong.

What do you guys and girls think?

    Thanks.
