web pages take long time to load?

There are a couple of causes for that phenomenon.

Nr. 1: A lot of graphical content which is not inserted properly into the site.

Nr. 2: Too many visitors to the website causing an overloaded bandwidth.

Nr. 3: Slow internet-connection on the client side.

Nr. 4: Badly programmed site.

You can solve Nr. 3 easily by rerouting your internet connection through one of those really fast proxy servers. Just do a google search on how to do that.

The same condition after formatting (assuming you've done a correct and 'trimmed down' re-install) implies an ISP/network problem.

Look into alternate DNS routing:

Also;

"Out-of-the-box" browsers request a webpage will get everything: and that may mean the webpage itself has other URL requests embedded inside (as unseen assets and/or "iFrame" components).

Those requested 3rd party asset URL's would be on remote servers, which require more time to 'fetch'.

Turn off (block) 3rd party cookies.

Browser> Tools > Options> Privacy; accept 1st party & session cookies: Block 3rd party> OK (save) out.

That should speed up your browsing sessions, but it may not exactly astonish you...it can vary for each site, and the hosting service interaction with advertising, tracking, etc.

if you are trying to load a particular page and the problem only occurs with it. It might be the servers on which the page is hosted that are slow or have a slow connection with your internet service provider's servers (even if you have a broadband connection).

This might occur if the page you are trying to access is hosted at a geographically distant place to where you are and your ISP servers are located.

That is what I could think of as a logical explanation to the problem loading.

When you open a website, the browser will be searching for the files that you are looking for. Websites are like files, if you are opening a huge website, you technically downloading a file. The bigger the file is, the longer it will take to load.

Browsers use cache to store data in your browser. Once you (down)loaded a website, some of the files will be stored in your browser's cache. This means that you don't have to (down)load the whole website, which makes your surfing faster. That is the reason why loading becomes faster when you reload it.

reinstall in ex 7 0r 8 depending on the version u have and check for updates and down load them like direct x runtime ect:keep up on your updates.

That depends on what sites u open...if u open a big site,it definitely lakes time to load whether u use broadband even.

Check any virus is there in your pc and update your Anti virus.
