If you build a road with nothing at the end will anyone use it? No.
If you build a school that doesn't educate, will anyone use it? Yes.
The government cannot buy or create jobs. They don't create anything of value.

Onvia (ONVI), a Seattle company that tracks federal spending, estimates that some $65 billion of the $420 billion that was in the stimulus package for contract and infrastructure spending has gone out the door. Federal officials offer similar numbers, saying $60 billion of the $499 billion in total stimulus spending has been disbursed. (The remaining $288 billion consisted of tax cuts.)
What is a Depar???
The stimulus was used for its intended purpose. Here is their website which shows where all the money went in each state.
You dont want a Dept of Transportation to pay for highway repairs or fund schools ? The Constitution guarantees a free education to children. We cant get rid of the Dept of Ed. Who would guarantee college students loans at a low interest rate?

What's a pludsbillion?
Whoever told you that those departments get quintillions of dollars (far more money than exists in the entire world -- that is what a million billion IS) was lying to you big time.
Everyone who has any brain at all knows that our infrastructure is collapsing dues to decades of neglect.
Why do wing-nuts WANT bridges to fall, and every driver to waste a big hunk of their money because they're always driving on roads with cracks and pot-holes?
Why do wing-nuts hate America?
If you really wanted to know what the money any department gets yearly goes, you could go to their websites. Everyone with a brain realizes it isn't enough to fix all the crumbling infrastructure.
Everyone with any humanity would be happy at the creation of a million or more jobs.

No money vanishes. All of it gets spent and re-spent. Suddenly subtract X billons from a cash short economy and the economy will sink to a lower level of equilibrium. More people will lost their jobs. Production will decrease. Tax revenues will fall. The cycle doesn't end until every bit of debt is wrong out of the economy, but by then industry has ceased, grass grows in the streets, the social and physical infrastructure is in ruins, government ceases to function and civilization flounders and fails. In spite of the foolishness you hear from the GOP/Tea/Fox/Jesus freak party and in spite of everything they could do to block this president, Barack almost single handedly saved this republic from a black hole depression. History will bear this out.

During those talks of 'Budget Battles', even the Professor-in-Chief Obama mentiond how we have too many government departments doing the SAME thing for LESS results.
Even hyper-political pundints predicted Obama and his Majority would be this bad. But voters IGNORED reason!

Obama's "Jobs Bill " is just another payoff to the unions , another bribe bought and paid for by the tax payer
Since the 1970's spending on public education has gone up over 400% , school enrollemnt has only risen 7 % , staff hires have gone up 83% --------So whose pocket does all that money end up in , not the students that's for sure

They are terribly under-budget for everything they do.
