Do babies usually 'drop'?
I remember my son dropped, I am 39w5d pregnant now. She doesn't seem low at all. But then I heard not all babies drop? Or if they do then when would they usually drop?

If you vaginally deliver, all babies heads drop. 'Dropping' means that they enter the birth canal, so it has to happen or they will never come out! Sometimes, it doesn't happen until you are already in labor, though. It doesn't always happen days or weeks before the baby is born.

usually in first pregnancies the baby's head engages (drops) anytime from 34 weeks, ur midwife will examine u and tell u how many 5ths of the baby's head is engaged, with 2nd and subsequent babies the head doesn't usually engage until labour starts.
