What is cappicino coffee concerntrate and how do you use it?

My neighbors don't drink coffee so they gave me these bags of coffee concentrate and stuff. Thing is, I don't know what to do with it or how to use it... I emptied out one bag and poured it out into a pitcher and it looked all syrupy. Is that normal? When I tasted it, it was all bitter sweet. So do I mix it with water or something?? Because I have no idea...

Coffee concentrate is intense coffee that has been thickened by the removal of liquid, and now needs to be diluted with hot (boiling) water. You will have to experiment to get the proportions of conentrate to water if you have no instructions, but I would try 1 tbsp in a cup of hot water, and adjust as needed. Some recipes call for up to 1 part concentrate to 3 parts water, but this could be too much - it depends on the product.

Seal and refrigerate any remaining concentrate for further use.
