Just how rare is 3-0 in high school football?

Question

My football team ( the St. Marys Flying Dutchmen) just went 3-0 last Friday and our coaches seem to be making a big deal out of it. We're in a AAA division in central PA.  I know that it's damn good but just how good is it? We've already beaten Brookvile, Clarion-Limestone, and Punxsutawney.

My school's football team is currently 3A and 3-0. I'd say it's not rare, but it's definitely an amazing way to start out the season! I do think it takes a lot of skill though. =) Hope your team can keep it up!

A 3-0 start is not rare, at all, in high school football. Keep in mind, in any given year, several high school football teams across the United States finish the season undefeated :)

Not rare where I live. I've been on my school's varsity team for 2 years now(we have a 12 game season), and we finished 12-0 on my junior year, and right now I'm a senior and we're 3-0 right now.

not rare.  if u want to see a good football team come to baltimore maryland.   we want undefeated 2 years ago. n lost like 3 games last year n so for we are 3 n 1 this year.   last night we won 49 to 0.  we are really good

I have no Idea what Brookvile or all those other schools you mentioned, but I seemed like both teams have a great deffense.

no my senor hs team central catholic in pittsburgh pa back in 2008 AAAA went 16-0 and won the wipals that year.

That really depends on the length of season. If there are only 4 games, then yeah that is good. but anything longer than that, idk, your coaches are weird or your team has a reputation of sucking badly.
