Hey bigots why don't you just admit defeat?

At midnight tonight the repeal of don't ask don't tell goes into affect. Of course I've seen all kinds of stuff on my husband's division's facebook page from the bigots whining and complaining. Why can't these small minded individuals just admit defeat?

Because they won't. It would be best for you to just ignore it and not start up any drama with your own politics. Not good for FRG meetings...

Edit: While looking through some of your quetions, I noticed that in your "high and mighty-ness" you were WRONG about an Army question.

The CORRECT answer is Minerva ( I know, I misspelled it on your page)

    Which can be refrenced here:

http://www.armystudyguide.com/content/army_board_s... Topic number 15. She was a ROMAN Goddess, not a pagan deity. You should get your facts straight before making an a** of yourself and putting down "Christians" and those who do not share the same belief as you (since you want to make mention of it in your profile) So...take that in your cauldron and shove it...

As long as they do their job and do it well, I could care less what their orientation is.

Just stay safe, accomplish the mission, and come home together.

But I can't help but wonder how many will still say and do nothing after it's repeal. Some like the fact that they were protected by don't ask, don't tell.

Besides, the military will have to have some kind of policy in place for such things, and I'm sure with the repeal there will be another policy put in place that will be almost the same thing, but stated in a different way.

I remember you. You are that real batty, not right in the head, military wife that thinks young ladies (other wives) should ask your permission before saying your name first. You give a bad name to the amazing supportive spouses who are overshadowed by your kind. I really feel for your husband, god knows what is said when his back is turned about you.

I have no problem with gay people, I do think the country has bigger fish to fry right now and should just not make a big deal out of sexuality when we have our own being blown up with IEDs. We have never ending combat operations in the Middle East, yet the government deflects the sheep with DADT. You need to keep things in perspective, while you are screaming about bigots on your fat butt in your living room, damn good men are dying by from the insurgency and wives are become widows. What is more important to you?

Recall that DADT provided Gays which what they demanded - an opportunity to serve in uniform. Their argument was based on the face that one's sexual preference should not be a deciding factor in military enlistment.

However, with DADT these same gaylords could not announce their preference. They again screamed discrimination while demanding a new 'right' to announce those with whom they prefer to have sex. A topic which had never come up during the earlier discussion of gays in the military.

No one in the press seemed to be able to identify this obvious hypocrisy. One the one hand, gays should be able serve because their sexual preference is not an issue. (Which was their original demand.) But on they other hand, this preference is suddenly an issue, and now gays deserve the right to announce such. Following this obvious duplicity? A logics instructor could have a great time with it.

What exactly was wrong with DADT? Is it that difficult for someone not to announce their sexual preference? Additionally, if someone feels that their sexual preference is so important that it should be announced, then they need mental health counseling -- not military enlistment.

From my experience a lot of people feel like more than their share is being forced on them. For example this months front page of the Marine Corps Times "We're Gay, Get Over It". I spoke to a lot of angry Marines and Sailors when that debuted. A big issue most of us have is that individuals can change the entire face of the Marines, and the other services too. If a Marine kills someone, the headline doesn't say "Man Kills Bystander", it says "Marine Kills Bystander", and that mentality from the public raises concern for the service members, because service members aren't seen as individuals, they are seen as one unit.

You need to go back to sleep. You don't come on a site picking a fight and expect results. And you are on the wrong site! How about going on that face book site you mentioned and complaining there.
