Can anyone explain to me the Global Trade in California Missions?

Does anyone have any information about Global Trade in the California Missions that involved the Native Californians during the Spanish Period from 1769-1821?

Any information will help! Thanks!

CA was along the main trade route to what was then called the "spice islands" or "the Sandwich Islands." Today we call them Hawaii and other South Pacific islands. Ships would leave America on the East Coast or from England and elsewhere and stop in CA to get supplies. They would then trade with the Mexican Californios and the Missions. The Native Americans were involved because they did the manual labors.
