Check the St Louis county parks web site to see what's going on in the various parks for little or no cost. There's always the local shopping malls or you can get into an early movie at many theaters for only $4-5 per person. Except for special exhibits or parking, things are free at the zoo and science center. Find out of your parents have an Entertainment Book which will get you into some places with a buy one get one free or a big discount or even cheap bowling. Go the the University City loop and browse the shops. Go to your high school sports games or other events. Check out free or low cost concerts and other theater or sports events at local colleges. Ride, walk or skate the bike trails. See some of the local historic sites. Pool your money and use coupons to get cheap meals at restaurants. Go to the drive in in Belleville before the weather gets too cold. Get one last Ted Drewes before winter. Go to local festivals or even flea markets.

Hi, guy! No need to worry! You know St. Louis is one of the best cities in the nation when talking about free things to do. That is to say, there are many attractions in the city where you and your friends can explore without spending a penny. Here are some of the top free attractions in St. Louis.
St. Louis Zoo - It is thought to be one of the top zoos in the nation. The zoo is home to over 5000 animals and each visit to the zoo can be a unique experience. Best of all, the admission to the zoo is free. But some attractions inside the zoo like the Children's Zoo and Zooline Railroad require a small admission fee.
The St. Louis Science Center - The center gives you a truly hands-on experience. It is a collection of buildings including a science museum and planetarium. You know, the center is one of only two science centers in the nation which offers free general admission. Though the admission to the center is free, some special exhibits and the OMNIMAX Theater have a small admission fee.
Grant's Farm - This is another great place to see animals from around the world. There is a tram ride which can take you to the middle of the park. Please note Grant's Farm is open on weekends in the spring and fall and every day in the summer. The admission is free to everyone.
World Bird Sanctuary - The sanctuary gives you a chance to get an up-close look at bald eagles, owls, falcons and more. You can also learn more about the world's threatened bird species through various seasonal shows, educational programs and special presentations.
Other free attractions in St. Louis also worth a visit include:
St. Louis Art Museum
Missouri History Museum
Cahokia Mounds
Cathedral Basilica
Laumeier Sculpture Park
Museum of Westward Expansion & Old Courthouse
National Great Rivers Museum
Maybe this is a long list. However, you live in St. Louis, so you might have time to explore all these attractions. In case the above-mentioned attractions are not to your liking, you may find more things to do in St. Louis from this link:

Since you've done all the main things already, you might want to try the City Museum downtown. Although not free, it doesn't cost that much to visit. You don't mention how old the teens are, but out in Chesterfield there is Faust Park, with an old time settlement village (I think), and the Butterfly House. Walking the Streets of Old Town St.Charles and going through the shops might be something to do. Dave and Busters Restaurant (Earth City) has all kinds of video games for kids (and adults) of all ages. Anheuser Busch Brewery Tour. There are several church carnivals and Affton Days going on Saturday, so you might want to do something like that.

I don't know what the rivers are like, but just a car or bike ride along the Great River Road in Illinois from Alton to Grafton and Pierre Marquette State Park has nice views and the weekend is supposed to be really nice. I hope this helps out.

Anything in Forest Park is Free: The Zoo, Art Museum or Science Center.
You could go to Stuckmeyer's and get pumpkins, Ride bikes through a park or walk through Jefferson Barracks and see all of the changing colors.
