Can somebody explain to me why Palestine should not have a seat in the UN?
Why has the US already announced that it would veto their entry in the UN?
The politics is confusing, just don't understand it.

Funny how most of the above try to make out Palestine wants to wipe out Israel while Israel is actually doing that to Palestine.A glance at any map of the region will clearly show how much of Palestine has been wiped out by Israel and all the stats reveal that Israel, with their far superior weaponry, manages to wipe out hundreds of Palestinians for any old reason, at the drop of a hat, on a regular basis. No country on this planet would put up with the sh!t the Palestinians have endured for decades. As for the U.S. having the audacity to expect them to subject themselves to many more decades of subjugation while Israel steals yet more land perhaps they'd like to explain why they bleat on about democracy and the right to self determination but deny that to Palestine.

Palestine is nothing but a Jordanian land-grab disguised as a phony nationalist movement.
That's according to the PLO's own leadership:
"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism...
For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa. While as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."
- Zahir Muhsein, Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee member, in a March 31, 1977 interview with the Dutch newspaper Trouw.
And this from other Arabs:
"Who can challenge the rights of the Jews in Palestine? Good Lord, historically it is really your country."
-Yusuf Diya al-Khalidi, Mayor of Jerusalem, writing in 1899.
"We Arabs, especially the educated among us, look with deepest sympathy on the Zionist movement. We will wish the Jews a hearty welcome home."
- Emir Faisal, King of Syria and Iraq, in 1919.
"There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not".
- Philip K. Hitti, an Arab professor at Princeton University, in testimony to the 1946 Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry.
That's why Palestine shouldn't have a seat in the UN.
The United States is a lot of things.
But it's not dumb enough to support a hoax by a phony people ("Palestinians") trying to steal land from a US ally (Israel) to create a phony country ("Palestine") just so Jordan can increase its territory.

The Israelis hate the Palestinians because of a difference of their religions. The USA has a pact with Israel and will back them in anything they do right or wrong. All the Palestinians want is the same courtesy extended to them as was extended to the Israelis in 1947 when the UN gave them land in the middle east as a homeland.

Looks like some dorks here like to accuse others of unable to get recognized. But the Torah is full of terrorism and their low IQ makes them unable to understand that, but in cases that they have IQ high enough to understand it then their vicious and rogue sense makes it OK for them to support vampire demons who try to meet the commands of Torah in Palestine.
Let's now open Torah and read its blood thirsty teachings that Jewish people try to achieve as much as possible :
Killing all and even animals :
1 Samuel 15:3-8
(3) Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ***.
Killing children :
Num 31:17
(17) Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
Looting :
Eze 23:25-26
(25) And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.
(26) They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.
Burning houses :
Num 31:10
(10) And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire.
Destruction promotion :
2Ki 3:19
(19) And ye shall smite every fenced city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.
Cursing who does not kill :
Jer 48:10
(10) Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.
How could people who believe that such texts be deserving of a recognition ?

Because there is no country called "Palestine". You have to be a recognized country to be a member of the UN.
- BazzaLv 710 years ago
Because the Palestinians keep attacking Israel. The US, and the UK incidentally, are allies of Israel.
If the conflict ceased I imagine the Palestinians would have no problem joining the UN.
- Anonymous10 years ago
Because by their tract record they might try to take over the UN and launch an attack on annihilating Israel!

There is no single, organized government that could represent them.
The two groups that could claim that right are both TERRORIST organizations.
The primary goal of every "Palestinian" is to murder every last man, woman and child in Israel. These are not people who deserve any kind of recognition.

They exist just to remove Israel. They ruined their own chances by using the self-government in gaza to launch rockets at israel, until they were taught a lesson.

the US has said it wants a negotiated entry for Palestine to avoid chaos, violence and death, isn't that not a sensible thing to say and do?
