same network, same IP address?

In our office, there are several computers connected to one router, using the same internet service. Does this mean that all of these computers have the same IP address? If so, is there w ay to change the IP addresses for each computer?

thanks.

If all computer use same network then all will have same external or WAN IP address but different internal or LAN IP address.

To find out what is set as internal and external IP address on computers in network use IP trackers:

    http://www.ipaddresslocation.org/

    http://www.find-ip-address.org/

    http://www.ip-address.org/

Without buying extra account by same or another ISP or without using proxy server there is not easy way to change IP address for each computer.

from the internet's point of view, there is 1 IP for the network. Inside the network, each computer has a unique IP address. To find it, click start, run, type in "cmd" without quotes. Then type ipconfig to get the ip address

Computers can not have the same IP address, each computer is having its own IP address which is more propably assigned by the router it self using the DHCP protocol. you can change the IP address on any computer by going to the network adapter - proporites - IPV4 settings. but you need to make sure the IP address is the in same range of your network and have the router as your default gateway and DNS server.

they will not have the sam ip but ip conflicts can occur if multiple computers are used in the same LAN. If you want to change your ip:

Run cmd as adminstrator and then type in ipconfig/release and press enter.

Then type in ipconfig/renew and press enter. this should change your ip
