Pachmayer folding scope mount?

Found a rifle that I'm interested in buying.......the only problem that I see is that it has an old Pachmayer folding scope scope with a Weaver K4 in it. Has anybody ever used a mount like this before? Do they hold zero or not?

I'm not sure I'd call it a "folding" scope mount, it's more of a "pivot" than a "fold"

Anyway, yes, they do hold zero reasonably well. As a historic artifact, it and the K4 are pretty interesting; but srsly, if I were you, I'd be looking at a slightly more modern set-up.

I had one on a Remington model 141 in 35 Remington, along with a Lyman Alaskan scope. While I didn't see much utility in the mounting system, it most certainly held zero on that rifle very very well.
