Macey as a nickname not full first name?

I love the name Macey, but I don't want that to be a girl's first name.. I want it to be a nickname.. I've asked this before, but no one really came up with some names.. Can you help? Thanks!

I don't think nicknames need to be linked to a person's first name. For instance, my child's nickname is Peach, because was such a perfect baby and resembled a soft, perfect, rosy peach.

Also if someone's interested in say, soccer, he may get 'Beckham' as a nickname. Or if a boy is called Franklin he may get, 'River' as a nickname, after the river Frnaklin.

So, you could choose a name that you really love for your daughter and use Macey as anickname.

I think what you really need to do I choose a name you like, but just call the baby Macey right from the start. Nicknames don't necessarily need to be in link with the first name :)

Awww! That's such a cute nickname!

Here are a few suggestions which I have came up with, sorry if they're pretty bad :D

Marcella (Mace, from Marce, and add y!)

Maria-Catherine (Ma from Maria, and C from Catherine, then add ey!)

Maybelle (May, and just add ci, and change the spelling)

    Clemence

    Macaria (Ma-Ca-Ree-Uh)

    Mackenzie

    Mercedes

    hope that helped
