The defenses are preparing more to stop the run. Also, they keep running him in between the tackles, nearly every play. His bread and butter has mostly been on sweeps, pitches to the outside, or screen passes. In watching both games this season, they've done very little of that.

He had no training camp and no preseason games, come week 5 he'll be back on track.

Hardly; CJ is making Hasselback look like an All-Pro again. They're bringing 8 men in the box just to stop CJ, and Hasselback is making them pay with his passing.
