I have the vector A set up as:
A = - i + 2j
What are the steps to graph this? Thanks!

so i and j are unit vectors, i represents the vector <1, 0> and j represents the vector <0, 1>.
So you can rewrite the equation as: A = -1<1,0> + 2<0, 2> = <-1 0> + <0, 2> = <-1, 2>
Pretty much, you start at (0,0) and the end of the vector is at (-1, 2)

you will ought to interrupt it into the x and y components for occasion: 12m @ 30 levels 12cos30=x 12sin30=y The ending format ought to look like: _ i +_ j (the i and j are only symbols to characterize x and y) wish this helps
