Is it the best way for Israel to live in peace by recognizing the Statehood of Palitinians?

I think the sooner the better for Israel to recognize Palestinian State to live in peace side by side and with their neighbors , Israel should not put head into sand and say no to Statehood . Middle east is being in a dramatic change era and it is not for the favour of Israel .

and fast against dictators and will ask Israel for

Any recognition that the Palestinians exist and become recognized by the UN as a nation of people would open Israel up to scrutiny for its massacres, murders and human rights abuses against what would be a sovereign nation.

Israel exists simply because the UN (league of nations at the time) forced the Palestinians from the land the Jews abandoned for centuries as a way to deal with the refugee issue quickly and expeditiously.

The allies had as much use for the displaced Jewish refugees as the Germans did who displaced them. The refugees were a major headache and British Palestine was seen as a convenient dumping ground.

the Israelis had hidden behind the holocaust as a justification fro the atrocities committed by their settlers and their military and the excuse became boring decades ago.

Remember the Israel have and are murdering Christians as well as Moslem's and have done so in a strategic and calculated way .

I doubt that would solve the problems. The Palestinians have always refused to recognize Israel as a State. That has been one of the main hold ups since the Palestinians demanded statehood years ago. In addition, these people have always hated Israel. I doubt anything would stop the fighting. The only time there was peace between the two nations was prior to Israel's being granted statehood. The Israeli's taught the Palestinians how irrigate their land and grow crops. After the Israelis were granted Statehood and the Palestinians started to attack Israel, their land went back to desert.

No, and for very good reasons:

The Palestine Liberation Organization was formed in 1964 to advance the cause of Palestinian nationalism.

It is recognized as the "sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people."

But it's admitted Palestine has no right to the land, and that statehood's just a means to an end:

Article 24 of the PLO Charter admits they have no justification for an independent Palestinian country in the areas collectively referred to as Palestine:

"This Organisation does not exercise any territorial sovereignty over the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and Himmah."

The PLO's leadership admitted its intention to betray Palestinians to Jordanian control once a Palestinian state is created:

"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity.

For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa. While as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem.

However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."

    - Zahir Muhsein, PLO Executive Committee member, in a March 31, 1977 interview with the Dutch newspaper Trouw.

There will be no free Palestine like those supporting a Palestinian State mistakenly believe.

It will only result in a return of would-be Palestinians to the Jordanian occupation and annexation they experienced from 1948 till 1967.

Jordan could've granted Palestinians self-rule during that time.

Instead, the Jordanian government's 1950 annexation declaration stated its "support for complete unity between the two sides of the Jordan and their union into one State, which is the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan..."

Back then, only Great Britain and Pakistan recognized Jordan’s annexation and all other nations, including the Arab League, rejected it.

Rather than bring peace to the region, it stands to cause more strife and conflict and quite possibly open war between Jordan and neighbouring Arab states.

No. that's a starting up factor for territorial negotiations; no negotiations with the P.A. would proceed lacking popularity of the Palestinian Territories because the State of Palestine,to which objective Pres. Obama is really dedicated. so a ways the izzies whine and bewail the very undeniable actuality that a celebration - Hamas - does no longer "comprehend" Israel yet there is not any precedent for a state in search of diplomatic relatives individuals with a celebration so it truly is without value; in international regulation, the criticism is without content. One does no longer substitute ambassadors or set up diplomatic relatives individuals with a overseas political party. The P.A. does comprehend the authorities of Israel it truly is all that concerns - except that they received't comprehend the PA and the PT because the Governement of Palestine.

It is a 1st and very important step as it would recognise the right of Palestinians to actually exist.

But it would have to be matched by not only stopping the settlements on Palestinian land but destroying those already built and returning the land to those to whom it belonged.

That would be a huge concession and prove that they are serious about peace.
