Since God gave us two gifts life and free will why is it a sin to commit suicide?

If a suicidal person believes God gave him/her the gift of life, and choice (free will), then they must know that their choice to die is a symbolic slap in the face of God. ("The life you gave me stinks. You can have it back.") But here's the contradictory bit. In the mind of the suicidal person, they don't have a choice. They feel there is absolutely no other way out of their misery but to choose death. That means they don't believe they have free will. On both counts, they are disrespecting God's two gifts. Not that they see it that way, of course.
Suicidal people are not thinking straight, and they don't act sensibly. They are mentally unbalanced. They have also ruled God out of the equation. They really need help before they get to the suicidal stage.

You would really have to be going through a lot to want to do that. It's just not right thinking to want to do that. A person gets overwhelmed with life and responsibilities and use suicide for a way out. Life and the body are a gift from God, and by destroying them is to say God is wrong. However I been where your at many times. Try other methods instead of medicine because some will get you hooked, and when you want to quit you will be in worse shape than before.

God didn't create life in order for his creation to do away with their own life. Does that make any sense? Think about it why would God create you just so you can take away your own life? Why would you?
