How to clean rubber kitty litter mats?
I have one of those large rubbermaid cat litter mats and it needs a thorough cleaning. I managing to beat out most of the loose litter but it has some poop in it. How do I get it clean?
Not the tray, the rubber mesh mat that goes under the litter tray.

Fill the sink with hot soapy water and submerge it, then scrub it with a stiff brush. It helps if you wear gloves to protect your hands. I had one for a while and I cleaned it that way whenever I did the full cat box scrub. Then just let it air dry.

I clean mine out by throwing away all litter in the trash. Second, I scrub the mat by a rag with cleaning chemicals. Finally, I wash it off with the graden hose so that I get ALL chemicals off of it so she dosnt get sick. I dry mine off by letting it air dry or a dry towel. After thst just put cat littler in it. Hope this helps.

You take it outside and hose it out, then you squirt dish soap or fungicidal soap into the pan and scrub it with a brush like the one you use on your car. Rinse, let air dry and then refill with new litter.
