what is the best web service to back trace a Google number?

I had a prank call to my wife's cell phone on Friday night that I was able to trace the other night. I called the number from my Google number so not to display my "real number. Well the crazy drunk guy did some type of back trace and showed up at a house I lived at 20 years ago. How did this happen? How did he link that address to that number?

As when I try to back trace the number I find no address as it is a free Google voice number.

Long story short the 'Drunk Crazy Guy' is in jail as he assaulted the person that lives there now. And when you think you have seen and heard it all. Bam something NEW!!! lol

Thanks for the help. :-)

This is the best option for a reverse phone number lookup https://webmd.im/phone-search

Receiving a one or two hang up calls each month is probably nothing to worry about, but when those calls increase in frequency and if it happens in the middle of the night then you must do something to stop it, before it starts affecting your life. With the help of this services you can take away the one advantage these people have - their anonymity.

@ Ulrike, Doesn't work and cost money for pretty much nothing, read on. I payed for a full report for each link that you listed and every bit of the information they SOLD me was far from correct. I can tell you that all that was correct was the state from which the call originally came from.

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/ryxiP

Superpages, which Tina gave you, and most other web-based phone books, have a reverse option; you put in the phone number, it tells you who has it. It won't work for unlisted numbers or cell phones. Go there, click on "Reverse", enter the area code and phone number. If you are renting a house to him, you can run a credit check, but you have to subscribe to the service first. If you are dating and doubt his word, just continue to meet him for lunch in public areas, arriving separately. Call his house during working hours to see if a woman answers. It takes about 3 minutes to set up a Yahoo! Id; you can ell it you come from any ZIP code you want. If his e-mail is @ a very small ISP, chances are he lives in their service area, or used to, or his tiny ISP got bought by a big one. In other words, neither is much of a clue. You can try googling him. Here's my copy and paste text file on that: Once in a while you can find someone with an exact phrase search in Google. That means you use quotation marks - double quotes ("), not single ones ('). You have to try all of the forms of the name you can think of: "Tom Edison" "Thomas Edison" "Thomas A Edison" "Thomas Alva Edison" "Edison, Tom" "Edison, Thomas" (If that gives you too many, try "Edison, Thomas A" "Edison, Thomas Alva", because any page that has "Edison, Thomas Alva" will come up for the shorter phrase, "Edison, Thomas".) The case isn't important, nor do you need the commas. You and I know that "Thomas Alva Edison" and "Edison, Thomas Alva" are the same person, but a computer doesn't. If you are looking for something particular, add that outside of the quotes: "Thomas Alva Edison" Biography "Thomas Alva Edison" Patents "Thomas Alva Edison" Obituary If you know your person likes to jog, or lives in Beloit, add the additional outside of the quotation marks: "Tom Edison" 10K (etc. - you still have to try all 27 forms of the name, in quotes.) "Tom Edison" Beloit (etc.)
