Is it grammatically correct to say "Between herself and (name)"?

Or should it be "Between her and (name)"?

Update:

I meant to put that something is shared between them.

    It depends on what you're saying:

    Jane added Mary between herself and Beth so that Mary wouldn't have to go first.

    I told Jane that I added Mary between her and Beth so that Mary wouldn't have to go first.
