It depends on what part of Florida you are in. In NW Florida it is spring through the first frost of fall for most people; they can be kept in a greenhouse over the winter but they are usually not very productive. In central and south Florida they can be grown year-round most years. They have a few years when they have killing frosts but usually it is very mild and there are no problems.
