Is it ok to date your step sister?

Ok the is completely true. So when my dad got my step mom pregnant he moved out and I started to go over to my dads (or at the time step moms) and I saw my step sister all the time. At the time I thought we would NEVER be friends because honestly she was sorta a b*tch. But then she kinda grew on me. Well about one or two years ago my dad, step mom, little brother, and step sister moved out to my dads home town. Then my step sister and I didn't talk for like six months straight (it was a little awkward between us for other reasons). Well when she finally talked to me she asked me to watch a movie with her. Little did I know that she had just broken up with her boyfriend. When I usually watch a movie with her I just sit on the other couch. But this time she decided to have me sit next to her. I really didn't mind that until she put my arm around her. It felt awkward and I thought some one would walk in and see us sitting there. Well after the movie ended I fell asleep and she did to. I woke up the next morning sleeping next to her. So I just ran up stairs and acted like I didn't sleep in the same room with her. But my dad and step mom both had to go to work early, so I think that she chose that night in particular. Well then she didn't talk to me for a while after that. We got a little closer every now and then but didn't really watch movies or any thing together for a while. But then lately I have noticed her coming on to me or hitting on me. She will ask me to lay with her and sit next to her. Then one night we almost kissed but didn't. I think that we should date because we both want to but were practically related. Any Help?

You should ask your dad and step mom if they think it is a good idea.  Be honest with them and tell them that you want to kiss her and be her boyfriend.  They will probably be cool with it.

i wouldn't try dating your step sister it could be she is just messing with you to see how far she can go and see how she can get you in trouble if you try anything with her most likely she will have you wrapped around her finger plus it could cause some problems between your dad and step mom so i wouldn't try it at all it could be a very awkward and weird situation go find your self a girlfriend that is no relation to you, your dad or your step mom and her family

oh yeah btw @AnAmazingZebra i live in WV and that is untrue it is illegal here as well! just because WV is the mountain state don't mean everyone is like that!

I don't see anything wrong with it since technically, you're not related. I could see it getting really awkward though, especially when/if you go out, you're parents would probably be watching you two all the time since you're dating and living in the same house together, etc. They probably don't want anything "bad" to happen, haha.

Dont do it. If nothing else, when you break up it will mess up your family. You're stuck with her for the rest of your parents lives. Date girls you can dump when things get ugly.
