Ca registration, commercial vs private use?

i just got my new 2012 cali tags, and i noticed my registration says commercial use instead of private use (or whatever its called).

i bought this vehicle used, and it was originally owned by a plumbing or electrical company, and used for the business commercially.

my question is, am i paying more for commercial use when i shouldnt be, or would private use end up costing more then i am currently paying?

Update:

i dont actually use it commercially, and my insurance is just a normal cheap policy (under $20 per month with my driving record, mileage, age, vehicle and everything considered).

and the cali dmv is happy with my insurance as it is, or they wouldnt of sent out the new tags......

thanks for the try, but it doesnt say anything helpful.

Registration may be the same costs, but with commercial registration you would also need commercial insurance, which would be more expensive.
