Why am i damned to hell no matter what?

Why does a Christian tell me i am going to hell if i am a Muslim and a Muslim tells me i am going to hell if i am Christian.

Doesn't that indirectly show that all religions are incorrect.......

How can one religion tell others they are right when every other religion says they know that belief is wrong.

To me it looks like religion is confusingly blind and ignorant. Why would i even want to be a part of any religion that has people with this type of mentality?

Update:

@Jeannie

Why can't he just tell me now instead of having me waste time hoping for an answer. That seems very selfish if an almighty god gives me the ability to use my reason and then gets mad when i deduce that he is dumb and slow. Plus tall these holy books have no merit of actually being true outside of belief so I can't use them for answers.

Update 2:

@joe

how does quoting things in one sides holy book somehow make another sides holy book less important? I dont understand why people do this.

Update 3:

@ Jeannie

So if i believe i am not doomed unless i pick a side then i am not doomed!

Update 4:

@wef

Thats very untrue and very ignorant to say that. Islam does offer salvation outside of Jihad....people today just think that's the case because they are trained to hear it I don't want to be a part of any group that throws away "gods" given reasoning skill because they hear it and blindly repeat it.

Update 5:

@mike

why would anyone even want to live a life dictated by a single book? I use multiple books when doing research for school why does each religion force me to walk in a linear line? Why does god want to limit me like that if he does exist? I agree theres a short coming in the individual and their belief structure when they just copy and paste lines out of a single source and call it fact.

Update 6:

@wef again

he didnt hang himself on the cross...... have you even read your holy book?

Update 7:

@Roger. I have tested the validity myself and i can't find any documented, retestable proof backing up of any of the major religions holy books. Your reason you give is solely based off your books reason and i can't use that in my personal judgement because there is no known factual basis on that belief. I guess I just don't understand why people limit their entire life's belief to a single text that has no validity to its claims.

the more i study religion the more i feel like its not intended for those that require more than blanketed hope and faith.

    There is only one reason anyone would go to hell: refusing to accept the pardon for your sins Jesus purchased for you with His shed blood. God inspired various men and women over the years to compile a book we call the Bible. All the information you need to know is in that book and God expects you to know it. As they say in court: ignorance of the law is no excuse.

    If you question the validity of the Bible then the simple test is to study it; even compare it to other so-called holy books. But it's foolish to question without first investigating.

    Saying God does not exist is no excuse either. God says He makes himself know by the very things He created. All you have to do is look around at nature. The rational mind will conclude that none of this could just happen on its own.

    Blasphemy towards the Holy Ghost. If you will have been given the Holy Ghost upon discovering Christ, and you then deny Christ, absolutely, that's Blaspheming the Holy Ghost, on the grounds that the one actual means you already know Christ is truly is by way of the Holy Ghost. Remember whilst Jesus requested his Disciples, "Who do you assert I am?" Peter responded him announcing. You are the Christ, the son of God. Jesus stated again to Peter' "I didn't inform you this, my Father in heaven instructed you," The Holy Ghost verifies, truths, and is sometimes called the comforter. Those who've a real testimony of Christ then denies, him is an instance of blaspheming the Holy Ghost, exceptionally in the event that they verbally deny him to others, and curse him as I have heard many do, however you ought to recognize, what number of real obtained the Holy Ghost earlier than they ever believed. That's why Jesus went amongest sinners and so they grew to become changed and adopted him, for Jesus is for the sinners now not the righteous. Righteous humans who drive their approaches of considering on others who they pass judgement on to be sinners, is solely as fallacious, for who're they to pass judgement on who's a sinner and who's righteous, even though it isn't a unforgivable sin.

    Islam offers no assurance of salvation unless you die in jihad. Jesus Christ offers the promise of eternal life to all who believe in what He did for them - taking their guilt and sin upon Himself as He hung on the cross, suffering in their place. so they could saved from the power and penalty of sin and receive the gift of righteousness, forgiveness, and eternal life.

    Now you don't have to accept the Gospel; but if you don't, I am afraid you will discover there really is no one else making that kind of an offer, who has demonstrated he has the power to back up his claims.

    I stand by my statement. Islam gives no guarantee of salvation until you stand before God and find out if the good in your life outweighs the bad. If the bad outweighs the good, you are going to hell, and a terrible hell it is, as described in the Koran.

    be aware that there are different hells and heavens in each religion. segregated up in space. that's why it's best to be an atheist. not being chained down to any set of principles, if there is a choice where to go, i'm free to make it on my own.

    people quote when they have no freakin idea what's going on. they can't think for themselves so the book does it for them.

    Because obviously they don't know what the bible teaches. You are not damned to hell, that is a lie that Satan has put in to the minds and hearts of the faithless and the spiritually weak, that they may not obtain salvation.

    John 3:16-20 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (17) For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. (18) Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. (19) And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. (20) For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.

    Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, (9) not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

    You aren't. Prepare to be surprised.

    And I agree with you. Too often the proponents of a religion are among the best arguments against!

    Nathan get a Bible read it. Pray for the Heavenly Father to reveal to you truth. And don't listen to anyone but Him. He will show up and answer you if you truly seek Him not a religion.

    Blessings be on you.
