Do go to good four year school really important when you aimed for Phd degree?

I want to have a Phd in either philosophy or physics. But go to big famous university cost a lot of money, Can I just go to some state college to get my bachelor and then apply to famous grad school. Will grad school will consider which four year college you come from.

I don't think it really matters which undergraduate school you go to, as long as you fulfill the requirements to get into grad school for your major. However, usually, the big, famous universities have better professors so you'll be able to get a good foundation for whatever you're studying. But if money is an issue, definitely go somewhere cheaper for undergrad.
