i am thinking about getting a macbook air but a lot of my games require a 2.00ghz proccessor i want to know if they will work.

There's no way to know because you've said nothing else about these games. Most of the time they recommend a 2ghz CPU of a certain type or equivalent. Without telling us what type of CPU is recommended at that speed (ie, a Pentium 4), how the hell should we know?

You're doing it very, VERY wrong if you're looking to play games on a Macbook Air, though. The CPU isn't bad, but the video card is an integrated Intel HD 3000. That's going to be a major performance killer, far more than the CPU.

Yeah, those games will run like crap on a Macbook Air. The CPU is certainly sufficient (It's a Sandy Bridge i5/i7 that will turbo into the mid/upper 2ghz range whenever possible), but the video card is pretty crappy.
