1) Please describe the difference between 'Episodes from liberty city' and 'GTA IV'
2) I think i read that Episodes from liberty city contains 'The ballad of gay tony' and 'The lost and the damned'. Does this mean if I bought GTA IV I would get the ballad of gay tony and the lost and the damned as well?
3) If 'Episodes from liberty city' and 'GTA IV' are different, which is better?

GTA IV is the original GTA IV that was made. Episodes from Liberty City was an add-on for GTA IV. If you plan to play a lot of the story I would just get the regular GTA IV because the story is long and you learn the characters well. If you want play multiplayer mostly I would probably get Episodes From Libery City because they have a few more cars and the graphics are a little better. Although the city is exactly the same.
Yes, If you bought Episodes From Liberty City you would get both The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and Damned.
At firsted, I liked Episodes better but now I like the original. It's better to start off with the original though if you want to learn the game well and you plan on playing it a lot. The in a few months just upgrade.
