He will win because he's the best man for the job.

I don't know, I think he has a good chance in winning, not because of his approval ratings, but because all the GOP candidates (except for Ron Paul, I learned about him a few weeks ago) are pathetic. If you listen to them, they are simply playing the blame Obama game, and are in it for the control of the White House, like Bush. Ron Paul actually sticks to the issues unlike the others and he only mentions Obama when asked, but the media ignores him. Obama has good views for this country, but he tries too hard to please everyone. Plus it did take 8 years for Bush to send our country down the gutter, meaning it will take just as long or more to get it fixed. The only way Obama may lose 2012 is if Ron Paul wins the primaries, he's very different from his GOP competitors and shows that he is not in it for power. I know Americans can be stupid, but I have a feeling that they're starting to wake up to the corruption of the so called government, Mitt Romney and Rick Perry as far as we're concerned an extension of the Bush years, we would not want to go back there. We'll just have to wait and see.

    Lose

He is Black, too liberal, and the economy did not improve while he was in office.

He was able to win in 2008 because George W Bush had been president for 8 years, so by 2008 the voters hated the GOP.

If one of the candidates who is currently seeking the GOP nomination, wins it, it would be different. Those idiots are so unelectable that even Obama could beat them.

I'm ambivalent to answer as it all depends on what Obama does with his remaining year in office. I know a lot of people, myself including, have been consistently disappointed with the fact that he is unable to accomplish anything. But then again I think most people acknowledge that the bulk of the problem lies with the ineptitude of congress. Let's face it, Obama is to blame for refusing to stand his ground on issues but honestly if congress cared more about this country than they do about their egos and stubbornness our situation and Obama's presidency would have been much better. Republicans and Democrats are essentially deeply wrapped in a game of chicken and they're waiting to see who swerves off the road first - unless they realize that they both need to swerve at the same time their both going to crash the U.S right into the wall.

Sorry for getting really off topic but this isn't a simple matter. But my answer still is we need to see if Obama does anything this year. Despite his shoddy handling of the Palestine situation he seems to have a renewed vigor with his jobs bill (not that the bill would ever pass a Republican House) mainly because he has some more breathing room to negotiate strongly now that the issue of the debt ceiling is temporarily clear.

  • He will lose. The only thing he needs to win is the votes of the Jews and other minorities. That's why he is constantly trying to kiss up to Israel. Did you hear him say "Billionares should be paying the same taxes as Jews uh janitors..."

Easy win the republicans approval ratings are in the tank and will only go lower.

He will lose because of his dishonesty with the American people. He is so transparent at this point you can see right through him and his deliberate deception.

Depends on who he runs against. If it's Ron Paul or Gary Johnson it's a surefire lose.
